Rona and Darran’s wedding day was an intimate and dramatic affair. Pro netballer Rona and I met on Instagram around a year before their wedding and over that time we talked all things wedding. The one thing we couldn’t plan for and control was the Skye weather. Despite an August wedding date initial plans to be married at Loch Coruisk were moved ashore when strong winds cancelled sailings. Then as Rona was having her make up done and Darran changing into his kilt the skies opened and poured and poured and poured. We quickly decided that an outdoor ceremony was off and all hands set to transforming the private dining room at Coruisk House to a candle lit ceremony room.
A couple of days later Rona and Darran recreated their wedding day looks and we created the outdoor images they so wanted on the beach at Elgol and on a trip to Loch Coruisk. Marc from One Big Picture Photography joined us at Elgol and Loch Coruisk and Rona and Darran were so grateful that he took time out of his holiday to help out!
